Ottawa, October 24, 2005 – Bilingual theatre company, Productions Nemesis, is launching its sixth season with a show exploring sex through text.

Hosted by the tantalizing Mistress Ruby, Sextual, the hour-long showcase of interdisciplinary erotica, stars local talent, including Jeremy Dias of Jer’s Vision and Oni, the Hatian Sensation. Sextual promises to heat things up as the cold nights of winter get longer.

“Who doesn't love a good bedtime story?” asks Mistress Ruby, as she invites one and all to listen to Sextual’s erotic monologues inspired by the writings of local writer, Marie Ouellette. “It's such a shame, now that we're all grown up; nobody thinks that the adults would like a little story before going to bed. Especially since bedtime is a lot more exciting now..." 

Sextual is presented in two venues over three nights on the first weekend of November.

Productions Nemesis is a volunteer-based bilingual theatre company founded in January 2001, whose mandate is to give youth of the Ottawa region the opportunity to produce original works in French and in English. Productions Nemesis thrives on the original works of youth from the region and hopes to give many of them the opportunity to write, act, direct, and produce for theatre, in both official languages.
