In the first play of Productions Nemesis' 2002-2003 season, a family struggles with conflicting views of life and love. Teenager Dilys, unsatisfied with her lot in life and aspiring to be in perfect love, finds solace in the world she creates with her pen. In her notebook, Dilys tries to define love, in order to then live it. Her quest takes her to the border between reality and fantasy.

Arianne M. Matte (Playwright)
A graduate of Carleton University's Journalism program, Arianne enjoys putting her pen to work on fiction and drama. Her great fun is to observe and take notes on the everyday and transform her findings into works of art. She is currently working on several projects, including a bilingual poetry collection, a novel and several more plays.
